Using a CalDAV task or memo list
To add such a task list or memo list to Evolution, perform the following steps:
Click File ▸ New ▸ Task List or File ▸ New ▸ Memo List.
Select the type CalDAV.
To discover the task lists or memo lists, announced by the server, enter the server address as URL and optionally User, then click on Find Task Lists/Find Memo Lists. Select a task or memo list and User mail. This prefills the fields Name, Color, URL and (see below) Email. The step is optional, and you can overwrite all the discovered settings.
Enter a name that you prefer.
Optionally choose a color that you prefer.
Enter the address in the URL field.
Choose Use a secure connection if you want to connect securely.
Enter your username and email address. When an assigned task is created in the task list, this email address is prefilled as Organizer.
When an assigned task is created, modified or deleted, a notification can be sent to the other parties. If Server handles meeting invitations is selected, Evolution uploads the task and assumes that the server informs other parties. When the option is not selected, Evolution sends an email.
Click OK.
The task list will be added to the list of task lists in Evolution.
Collection accounts
Different types of mail, address books, calendars, task and memo lists, belonging to the same user, can be added in one step by utilizing a Collection account.
